Now that they have done the deed, was it worth it?
You had better believe it was. And then some.
In a swoon-worthy moment, Derick dramatically dips his new bride, the second daughter of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, in a passionate embrace.
As first kisses go, Jill Duggar’s first kiss may be among the most memorable. The new wife’s assessment of the long-awaited wedding day lip lock?
“It was so worth the wait,” she tells People.
The duo exchanged vows at Cross Church in her hometown of Springdale, Ark., in front of more than 1,000 guests, including every one of Jill’s 18 siblings.
Jill made no secret of holding off on the physical side of things until she married Derick Dillard, who shares her strong Christian beliefs and happily obliged.
“I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day,” Jill said. “To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day.”
The pair waited until their engagement to hold hands, although they did break courtship rules and hug – full-frontal style! – once before the wedding.
Oh well, at least it’s all official now!
Here’s a look back at the cute couple’s relationship timeline, from the moment they met to the epic kiss and all the notable milestones in between …
Beyonce, Jay Z Wedding Video Revealed in Concert!
Jay Z and Beyonce’s On the Run tour kicked off in Southern Florida last night and the first couple of hip hop had a special surprise for the crowd on hand:
That’s Instagram footage of the concert. The most interesting part is the footage-within-the-footage which shows some never-before-seen clips of the Jay and Beyonce’s wedding.
As you may recall, the Jay and Bey nuptials were a low-key press-free affair. Basically the opposite of the Kim Kardashian-Kanye West wedding.
The video shows not only the wedding itself but also features some footage of the Carters getting their matching wedding ring tattoos. The same tattoo Beyonce had removed in the days following the Jay-Solange fight scandal, according to rumors.
Sharing the video is a surprisingly candid move from the usually intensely private couple.
So if you were on the fence about whether or not to shell out the obscene ticket prices, maybe now you can justify it by convincing yourself that an inside glimpse into the private lives of two mega-stars is worth the price of admission.
Or you can just watch the clip above for free!
Game of Thrones Actress Reveals MAJOR Season 5 Spoiler
Last month, actress Lena Headey posted a Game of Thrones spoiler on her Instagram page that left many fans irate.
Now, it turns out all that rage may have been for nothing as another GoT star made a contradictory reveal during a recent interview (spoilers lie ahead):
Michelle Fairley played Catelyn Stark for three seasons, until her character was offed during the famous Red Wedding scene.
In George R.R. Martin’s books upon which GoT is based, Catelyn returns to the land of the living as Lady Stoneheart – a mute zombie-like creature hell-bent on avenging her departed family members.
Fans had hoped the badass undead Lady Stark would make her first appearance at the end of season four. When that didn’t happen many felt certain the GoT showrunners would reveal the character early in the fifth season.
In a recent interview, however, Fairley basically crushed fans’ hopes of ever getting to see one of the most screwed-over characters in TV history finally enjoy her much-deserved revenge:
“The character’s dead. She’s dead,” Fairley told Entertainment Weekly. “You have to respect the writers’ decision. They can’t stick to the books 100 percent.”
“They only have 10 hours per season and extraneous stuff gets lost along the way.
Well, Fairley may have to “respect the writers’ decision,” but that doesn’t mean we have to! This second death of Lady Stark has us feeling like the GoT showrunners pulled a Walder Frey-Roose Bolton style betrayal on us.
Oh, well. We’re sure we’ll forgive them in time for next season.
